What is a nutrition educator?
As a Nutrition Educator, a lot of what I do is encourage people to make healthier nutrition choices. My favorite part is providing nutrition counseling where I have developed excellent listening skills.

WIC Outreach
A community can only be as healthy as its people and education is the key. Participating in WIC Outreach has been such a rewarding experience. I have been able to provide nutrition education and support to hundreds of families within Hillsborough County; however, much more work is needed in combating issues such as childhood obesity, iron deficiency, and low breastfeeding rates. I look forward to continue serving as a leader and pioneer for this public health issue throughout my professional career.
